Towards E-learning 2.0 in ELT

Yesterday we had the pleasure of giving a presentation called Towards E-Learning 2.0 on ELT with Jesica Bassani at the III SBS Conference for English Language Teachers Blending and Bonding. We analyzed how we can build communicative online learning environments based on the principles of the Web 2.0. It was an amazing experience and we got a lot of positive feedback from the teachers who attended the session. Here’s the Power Point presentation and the links to some of the tools we mentioned:

Rosario BlogDay – More Surprises!

After RBD, I’ve had the pleasure of engaging in meaningful and unexpected conversations with some unique local bloggers (new friends?) . I guess I’ve just become aware of the fact that I’m an English-speaking blogger in Spanish-speaking city, but that does not seem to be a problem when it comes to sharing concepts and ideas in the blogosphere. Almost three years after I started integrating technology at my workplace and into my teaching practice, I feel the need of having my own virtual spot to put together the wide array of projects I’ve developed with my students and colleagues as well as the enriching experiences that have contributed to my professional development.

Back in 2004, when I plunged into the adventure of setting up ARICANA’s Computer Lab with a group of colleagues, I was full of questions and uncertainties, but somehow, I simply knew there was a new dimension to be discovered.
